One of the great guest characters from TNG, Amarie is a four-armed musician with many ex-husbands and a nasty suck salt habit. In a few of my favorite scenes from Unification II, she becomes a key part of uncovering clues as to what happened to the stolen Vulcan ship T'Pau. In the process, we are treated to three pieces of music, all with very different styles.
First, Riker does what Riker always does and tries a bit of flirting, which gets Amarie to perform a bit of Andorian Blues for him.
Next, Worf requests a selection from the Klingon opera Aktuh and Maylota, which she obliges, despite claiming to be a bit out of practice.
The final piece we hear Amarie play is "Melor Famagal," a composition of unknown origin but one that is heavily favored by Omag, a "fat Ferengi."
